YORKSHIRE WILDLIFE PARK
We are pleased to be the proud sponsors of Dani a beautiful Lion at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
Dani was part of one of the largest lion rescues in history. After spending their entire lives in 3 x 4 meter cages in the Romanian Zoo Oradea, the 13 lions, now nicknamed The Pride of Yorkshire, have now settled into their new homes.
SHERWOOD FOREST
We are pleased to announce that we are sponsoring an Oak Tree in Sherwood Forest and the Green Team at the hotel are working with the Sherwood Forest Trust in volunteering for days to help out on schemes such as planting trees.
CHARITABLE EVENTS
The hotel also supports local charities and schools and regularly donates raffle prizes for local fund raising events.
This month we have donated:-
- Stuart Cooper & Anthony Bird taking part in the Sahara Desert Challenge 2011 on behalf of the Princes Trust
- Grand Charity Summer Ball at Mosborough Hall Hotel on behalf of National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline
The hotel is also proud to be able to support H.O.P.E by donating furniture and soft furnishings and providing Christmas Meals for the homeless. The hotel is currently looking into ways of being able to support the charity more actively throughout the year.
